What are your thoughts on milestone photos? | Cedar Falls Photographer

Some of my Cedar Falls photographer friends and I were talking earlier about how not very many people book milestone packages anymore. I'm curious why that is? Leave a comment if you have an idea... I'd love to know! When I started doing photography 14 years ago, pretty much everyone booked a milestone package for their baby. Most people did newborn, 3, 6, 9 and 12 month sessions... which I love! But I wonder if that was kind of a trend or something. Babies change so much in the first year, and I love to capture each stage of development.
Now it's mostly either newborn only or if the client books a package, it's usually newborn, 6 and 12 month. Maybe I need to share more of these adorable milestone photos on my socials :) What do you think? Are the different stages of babyhood important to capture with professional photos or just the newborn session?
I love these 1 year photos of baby Lachlan <3 He was such a smiley little guy, and I'm obsessed with those little teef poking out. Not every baby is this smiley, but he was a rockstar!
